Sister Ellen Convey Retires from Gesu School in Philadelphia

For 32 years, Sister Ellen Convey has been the “heart” of Gesu School . Her unceasing love for our children and their families is legendary. As Gesu celebrated Sr. Ellen’s commitment and leadership with the 2024 Mark Solomon Gesu Spirit Medal, the school has established a new endowment in her name. "The Sister Ellen Convey Faith, Hope, and Love Fund” will provide annual support to families in need. Income generated through the fund will be set aside to help students whose families are facing extraordinary circumstances with the hope that some of the emotional and financial stress that can have a negative impact on children and their learning will be offset.
